Refresh with these Summer Sips

Today Rachel and I put together some of our favorite summertime drinks that are fruity + refreshing. So give some a try! And be sure to let us in on the action by tagging us on Instagram and Facebook.

#1 Paradise Smoothie
1 fresh + ripe banana
1 cup of coconut water
3/4 cup of strawberries
4-5 pieces of frozen mango chunks
6-7 pieces of frozen pineapple chunks
Then blend, blend, blend & enjoy!

#2 Perk Me Up Smoothie
1 cup of cold brew coffee frozen into ice cubes
(You can find our fav cold brew recipe here.)

2/3 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

1 frozen banana
(If you love making smoothies I would recommend having frozen bananas ready in your freezer. It is also a great way to preserve bananas that are getting too ripe instead of trashing them.)

1/3 cup of Unsweetened Greek Yogurt

1 teaspoon of cocoa / cacao powder

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 tablespoon of hemp seeds

Blend and Enjoy!

Infused waters are my FAVORITE! These are literally how I survived the endless Mexican heat. Well, these and a whole lot of Jesus. They’re sure to refresh!

**Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. In my experience, they are best enjoyed within 3-5 days. After that, they can get a little bitter.

#1 Rosemary--Citrus

fresh rosemary (2-3 sprigs)
orange slices
lemon slices
lime slices

#2 Berry--Basil

fresh basil (5-7 small leaves)
handful of strawberry slices
handful of blackberries
handful of blueberries

#3 Fresh & Sweet

handful of cucumber slices
handful of watermelon
fresh sage (5-7 leaves)
