Well, it’s that time of year again!

When I annoy you with pictures of myself in dresses and sort of depressing and scary statistics.

Bet you thought I was going somewhere different there—

Let’s be real. If you have followed me for any amount of time on my own social media or followed our blog adventures, this is not the first time I’ve posted and/or written about Dressember and I bet it’s not the first time you’re seeing something about it.

But what is it actually? Where did it come from? What’s the point? Is it actually doing anything?

This post is going to be more of a resource I suppose. Links and videos to help you answer those above questions should you want to.

Here’s the last thing I’ll say: What I love about this whole thing is that it had such a simple start. The founder (who crazy inspires me) was not planning to start a global movement. She was just a girl with a broken heart for victims of sex trafficking who decided she would start—just do something—because she couldn’t stand to do nothing. She didn’t have the “right” skills but she got creative and figured out how to use the skills she did have. And look! Look what happened because ONE girl made ONE choice to be a voice in her space. Because she invited people to come with her. I love how much she represents all of us—
